Knowledge and Attitude towards Antibiotics Prescription and Antimicrobial Resistance among Dental Surgeons in Saudi Arabia

Aims: To assess knowledge and attitude towards antibiotics prescription antimicrobial resistance among dentist in Saudi Arabia.
 Study Design: Cross-sectional, survey-based study.
 Place Duration of Study: Sample: Arabia, between June 2020 October 2021.
 Methodology: This is was a cross-sectional, study Arabia. Data collected using predesigned self-administered online questionnaire. The survey distributed to dental surgeons It included demographic data, Knowledge about antibiotics, Attitude based on the clinical situation. were analyzed by SPSS program, version 25 at level significance 0.05. 
 Results: A total 208 participants completed results showed that half females. Moreover, more than bachelor’s degree. Additionally, 21.2% earned internship. However, least proportion had master’s degree or higher (4.3%).91.8% respondents general compared 2.9% oral surgeon portion 1% endodontist.
 Conclusion: use inappropriately common, drivers inappropriate practices found as young age, male sex, education, negative regarding antibiotic use.
